Creative Boutique, stems from Margaret Vickery's, first business venture into the Papercraft world, with her own retail shop, Creative Moments. Creative Moments is based in Somerset, UK and stocks contemporary Papercrafting and Jewellery Making supplies. In addition they also run regular workshops, exhibit at Craft Shows, contribute to magazines and hosts the sell-out ‘Scrap-A-Mia’ retreat.

Building upon the success of Creative Moments and finding they fulfilled a gap currently within the market, Margaret discovered that the majority of the products she stocked originated from abroad - often the USA.

Strongly influenced by her daughter, Claire Smillie, Margaret embarked upon a mission to create a contemporary papercraft collection. She knew there was a need for this within the UK market but realised that this collection needed to be right on trend and contain beautiful designs that could easily be used by both Cardmakers and Scrapbookers alike.

Creating moodboards, devising colorschemes, searching for inspiration and sourcing designers was a task that Margaret and Claire undertook personally with great care and enthusiasm, to ensure that this collection became the best it could possibly be.

Margaret and Claire decided to embark on the long journey to CHA this Summer to show the Crafting world the designs that they are so rightly proud off. Their booth is sure to show the great passion and belief that they have in this collection.

Their website will play a vital part in the running on this new company. Not only are there Co-ordinating digital embellishments which can be downloaded free of charge, but there are plans to continuously add lots of new and inspirational projects and features on a regular basis. It is almost a certainty that this website will feature a ‘Blog Party’ in the near future, which in the past has proved to be very popular .

Here at CHA, you may see we have our paper samples on display. You can expect the actual papers to be released in September when Creative Boutique, will be offering these beautiful double-sided papers for sale in a high quality printed format, so that they can be used as a whole or cut up for a variety of projects.
